Writing better AI product descriptions
The all-in-one generator is only as good as the hint you give it. Six patterns that produce listings you don't have to rewrite.
AI Md Aminur Islam
StoreSuite’s all-in-one generator takes a single hint and drafts the product title, short description, and long description together. The quality of that draft is almost entirely a function of the hint - here is what actually moves the needle.
1. Lead with the concrete noun
ceramic pour-over coffee dripper, size 02 beats nice coffee thing. The generator has no access to your product images, so the hint is the only place specificity can enter.
2. Include the buyer, not just the object
Adding “for people who brew one cup at a time” changes the long description more than any adjective will. It gives the model an audience to write toward.
3. Put constraints in the hint, not in the edit pass
If the title must stay under 60 characters for your theme, say so in the hint. Editing afterwards costs more than a slightly longer hint.
4. Use system instructions for anything that repeats
Per-field system instructions live in Settings → AI and apply to every generation. Brand voice, banned words, a house style for measurements - all of that belongs there rather than in every hint.
System instructions are set per field, so you can tell the long-description generator to write in three short paragraphs while leaving the title generator alone.
5. Regenerate before you rewrite
Each field carries a history pager. Stepping back through earlier drafts is often faster than editing the current one - and the second or third generation from the same hint frequently lands closer than the first.
6. Draft fields individually when one is wrong
The all-in-one generator is a starting point, not an atomic operation. If the title is right and the long description isn’t, regenerate the long description on its own instead of re-running everything and losing a title you liked.
A note on cost
Generation runs against the provider you configured in WordPress, so every regeneration is billed to your own account by your own provider. StoreSuite doesn’t proxy or meter any of it - which also means no one but you sees the product data in the request.
